Founded by Chris "Brolga" Barns, the Sanctuary provides a safe haven for rescued orphaned baby and adult kangaroos across 188 acres. Their mission to educate and encourage the rescue and care of kangaroos and other wildlife resonates deeply with our own values.

The LBMA standards, while incredibly important, do not provide traceability all the way back to the originating mine. This limitation spurred us to seek a more comprehensive and transparent approach. That's why we are pleased to announce our expansion into the Alliance of Responsible Mining (ARM) and Fairmined with the introduction of Fairmined gold & Fairmined silver within our catalogue.

By incorporating Fairmined gold and silver into our supply chain,

Ore Metals is now able to offer our customers the latest in truly ethical sourcing and sustainable options. This alliance guarantees that the Fairmined collection of gold and silver we provide comes from artisanal and small-scale mining organizations that meet rigorous standards for environmental protection, social development, and responsible labour practices.
