Flow Temperature refers to the temperature in which the solder will melt. Having different flow temperatures is essential when soldering multiple components within a close vicinity. Hard Flow temperature will have the highest melt point where as Extra easy will melt at the lowest temperature. This is utilized by starting with your higher temperature solder for your main components before reducing to a easy or extra easy flow temperature for more intricate components and to allow the soldering to take place without re-melting your original solder.
✷ ARGETNIUM SILVER✷
Argentium silver is a modern type of sterling silver alloy that is highly regarded in the jewellery making industry. Distinguished by its composition, which typically contains 94% silver, it surpasses the purity of traditional sterling silver that contains 92.5% silver. The hallmark of Argentium silver is the addition of germanium, a key element that enhances its properties. This inclusion results in a more tarnish-resistant, durable, and brighter metal compared to standard sterling silver. It is also hypoallergenic, making it an excellent choice for people with sensitive skin. Furthermore, Argentium silver is easy to maintain, requiring less frequent polishing, and it offers a higher degree of malleability, aiding jewelers in intricate design work. Its ethical sourcing and eco-friendliness, owing to its responsible production process, add to its appeal in the contemporary jewelry market.
